Colour Literacy Project

Vibe is extremely excited to be the first nonprofit partner on the Oregon Beta Testing group for the international Color (Colour) Literacy Project. Other partners in the Oregon cohort include University of Oregon’s College of Design and NIKE

Vibe teaches our primary colors are based with MAGENTA, CYAN (BLUE), AND YELLOW. This pigment based CMY primary teaching ensures that blending colors is most successful for students in learning how to blend, identify and mix colors.

We host Professional Development in this area with Maggie Maggio and are diving deeper into the Color Literacy Project to help develop their international curriculum to broadly inform arts educators around the world.
